onServerPrefetch hook present in client side bundled vue app

Hi,

I started a little vue-ssr app and noticed that the onServerPrefetch method will be included in the bundled client side JavaScript. I do not think that this should be the case since it is dead code in the client. Now I am wondering if this an issue in vue or the bundler (vite in this case) or its plugins (@vitejs/plugin-vue in this case).

Is this a valid expectation from my side or am I missing something?
