Repro:

  1. Open Table Designer, let load schema
  2. Close Table designer
  3. Create a new schema using DDL, e.g. CREATE SCHEMA [TestSchema]
  4. Open new Table Designer window

Expected:

  • TD schema dropdown contains TestSchema

Reality:

  • Dropdown does not contain TestSchema
  • No button to refresh underlying schema
  • User must use TD to publish a change (even an unrelated one) in order for it to pick up the new schema
