Microsoft PowerToys version

0.87.0

Installation method

Microsoft Store

Running as admin

Yes

Area(s) with issue?

FancyZones

Steps to reproduce

With "Switch between windows in the current zone" enable, open two apps and drag them both into in a single zone. Confirm that you can switch between the two windows.

Let the screen lock due to inactivity. Log back in. Select the zone with the two apps. Confirm that you CANNOT switch between the two windows.

Drag the two app windows back into the same zone. Confirm that you can switch between the two windows.

✔️ Expected Behavior

I would expect app windows to retain their zone assignments after a screen lock due to inactivity.

❌ Actual Behavior

App windows do NOT retain their zone assignments after login due to inactivity.
