Hi,
For example for taking out number plates in photo's as I just did manually at the command line. Working out the metrics of ...
"-wipe WxH+X+Y Wipe (gray out) a rectangular subarea of width W, height H starting at point X,Y." (from jpegtran linux man)
... is a fun process but doing it with this GUI is going to be a lot easier !

I didn't know about that feature -- it would be a cool addition, or possibly also a cool new tool separate from cropgui.
Sorry, something went wrong.
+1 -- it would be nice to be able to redact parts of JPEG images while losing as little other information as possible.
