The scripts will pull the translated content and push it to the project automatically, you don't do anything.
But a problem is this will only apply to the develop branch, so the stable branch will not be applied because the translation keys may be different.

If the translation keys in the stable branch differ from the develop branch, would additional work be required to align them?

The translations will only be synced to the main branch automatically. The main branch is the development branch. If we want to fix stable branch translations problem, we have to send pull request to fix them.
