DJV no longer reads 4padded EXR

Hi there I've been using DVJ in CentOS 7 w/ Gnome to view EXR sequences. Normally I can double-click an EXR (any one in the seq of 0950-1202) and it opens them fine, play. etc. Now today it won't recognize EXR with file_name.0950.exr and instead tries (and fails) to open file_name.950.exr If I try via command line , same result. If I try using the file open dialog, it shows the whole sequence as starting at 950-1202 even though the files are named with leading 0. I've reset the app, rebooted, etc.
