After I configure and build, I am trying to run ./run main. However, it prompts the xdg_surface error, as the screenshot shows. I am running on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on Windows.

can you successfully launch other gui programs that natively use wayland?

I am not sure what a good example could be. When I run ./configure, it says that some optional dependencies like backtrace, ncurses cannot be found. Not sure if they are related.

I assume you are running on Windows subsystem for Linux. Do any other GUI applications start?

I don't use this laptop much, but I could run a Windows GUI application through the WSL before. Is there any thing I should verify?
