Connection problem on WSL

describes an issue experienced with Julia 1.11.1 and 1.11.2.
It looks like it might be Sockets, but I don't know if that trickled down from some higher up code.

I'm not aware that this is a known issue. It's hard for me to reproduce. Do you have a minimal failing example?
