I get the same error. I tried all the versions since commit 7cfebf2 since my CPU is too old and I can't use Gallium before that commit.

Does anyone have a solution? Please

I would try to Pkg.checkout ASTInterpreter and AbstractTrees. And possibly other packages from https://github.com/Keno/Gallium.jl/blob/master/REQUIRE if that doesn't work.

I encountered the same problem on Mac 10.11.6 and Julia: 0.5.2. It is fixed by Pkg.free("Gallium")
doc here.

The plan is to move things around for Gallium to use ASTInterpreter2. So, please hold on reporting Gallium issues until we make this change.
